Krimml

Krimml is not only known for its famous waterfalls, it is also the starting point for the Tauernradweg cycle path, which takes you along the Salzach River to Passau.

There are approximately 70 mountain bike kilometres of all difficulties just calling out for you to 'get on your bike'.

Ride a mountain bike to Krimml Achental - one of the most beautiful valleys in the National Park! Here you can find a peaceful, stress-free world, surrounded by stone pine forests and an unforgettable mountain backdrop.

Your bike tour will take you from Krimml along part of the Gerlos Alpine Road to the 'Krimmler Tauernweg' fork. This is where you test your strength across the cascades of the Krimml Waterfalls along. Rest areas tempt you to have a break and observe this unique natural spectacle.

After conquering the climb you will reach Krimml Achental Valley, a true natural beauty, surrounded by an imposing mountain panorama, a world of Alpine pastures and lush meadows. At the end of the Valley you will experience the world of glaciers at Krimml Kees. Mountain guesthouses and pastures are ready to welcome you along the way.
